A while back I talked to a recommended shop in town here that's been in business since 1937. The fellow said he could rebuild the leaf springs but he would not give a warranty. He felt that the steel was so old that it was highly probable the springs would go back to their flattened out condition in six months or so. I don't know if he was blowing smoke or trying to upsell me to buying new springs from them.
