A decent spring shop should be able to re-arch them to whatever height you want and paint them for cheap. And add a leaf if you need it. On mine I measured from ground to top of wheel well. Then jacked the car up to where I liked the stance and measured again. Gave the guy the springs and the measurements and they came out perfect. It was only $170 total for both springs including adding a new leaf, paint, bushings and new U-bolts. - Jim Jim Altemose, Long Island, NY '63 Polara 500 (Max Wedge) '63 Polara 500 (383) '65 Belvedere I (Street Wedge) '71 Bronco On Mon, Aug 27, 2012 at 10:59 PM, Gary H. <62to65mopar@xxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: > Thanks Gary. The size is the same but Mopar Action car did not use the SS springs. They used the springs that were used on 340 Duster type A-bodies. I think that part is called A XHD spring by Mopar Performance now, but I'm not sure. The magazine called them "Duster 340 A-body HD rear leafs" -- same dimensions as the SS springs though. > > Gary H. > >> -------Original Message------- >> >> You're right, Gary, A body springs are the same dimensions as the >> 62-63 B bodies.
