Re: Introduction

Jeff,

You must use the big block 727 with a 440 motor.

However, have you considered building the Poly into a 402" Stroker motor? You can get an easy 425HP and 450ft. lbs. of torque out of the Poly and you save money as you do not have to buy a 440 engine and core trans along with the other necessary drivline mods.

Hi Guys....

Just an introduction, my name is Jeff, I am from the UK, but moved to Canada last year.

I bought my 1969 A100 pick up with me, just sold it and I am buying a '64 Fury.

Had Mopars for the last 12 years, and I am still the forum administrator for the Mopar Muscle Association in the UK.

First question is, can I buy an adaptor to hook up the 727 SB trans in the car, to a 440 motor? Or do I need to put in a BB 727?
Car is currently a 318ci Poly motor.

Jeff
