Re: Brake Issue on Newport

i have a 66 fury that does the same thing but once you drive it down the road and hit the brakes a few times it works fine,,it is especially noticeable when i stop for the first couple stops then clears up,it is the booster and i have just dealt with it for the last 12 years and just take it easy for the exit of the garage and driveway, the larger primary shoe goes to the rear and is the main stopping shoe in the forward direction the shorter lining goes to the front and is the main stopping shoe when in reverse

Thanks guys. Hes hoping its some kind of adjustment so I'll def take a
look at the shoes and everything to see what they look like. Sounds
like he's in for a booster tho. I don't have my manual here in front
of me, should the larger shoe be towards the back or front?
