rear brakes for 63 customj 880

good morning, i would some some ideas or solutions to my
following problem. my rear brakes and drums locked up tight from
sitting way too long.i was able to pry them apart but lost the
passenger side drum in the process. the drivers side is probably
rusted beyond repair. so i am looking at a complete rebuild, drum to
wheel cylinder on both sides. i think the drums are the small bolt
pattern. if i change the whole rear to a slightly newer style my
driveshaft with its funky u bolts <pinion style> will not work. the
newer driveshaft will not fit my pushbutton tranny. i am wrong in any
of these thoughts? i have to keep this on a bargain basement budget as
times are tough and i might need to sell this car. i love this car but
dont have the bottomless pockets i need. thanks
