Re: rear brakes for 63 customj 880

Back then Chrysler had three bolt patterns - A body (small - Valiant,
Barracuda & Dart), D body (large - Imperial) and the rest. Your car
has "the rest". The rear drums and wheel cylinders on your Dodge 880
are the same as 1963-64 Chryslers.

If you want to save money, always keep things simple. In this case
'simple' is replacing the drums, wheel cylinders and shoes.

Shoes came in two sizes - 11"x2½" and 11"x3". The 11"x2½" were used
only in 1963-64 while the 11"x3" were used in 1963 and beyond by Dodge
880, Chrysler and C body Dodges. If the shoes are not warped, worn
down to metal on the lining surface, or rusted beyond recognition,
they can be relined.
