Re: Introduction

I'm not saying there is no such adapter, but I've never heard of one.
It would probably be cost prohibitive if there was one.
You could probably buy a rebuild kit for a big block trans, for what an adapter plate cost.
Find a big block transmission.

Hi Guys....

Just an introduction, my name is Jeff, I am from the UK, but moved to Canada last year.

I bought my 1969 A100 pick up with me, just sold it and I am buying a '64 Fury.

Had Mopars for the last 12 years, and I am still the forum administrator for the Mopar Muscle Association in the UK.

First question is, can I buy an adaptor to hook up the 727 SB trans in the car, to a 440 motor? Or do I need to put in a BB 727?
Car is currently a 318ci Poly motor.
