Larry, et al, I have in my '57 Chrysler 300C Restoration Handbook shown all inspection marks and factory stampings, etc. They are for Jefferson Ave. plant and for 300C only but probably are also relevant to all '57 Chryslers from that plant. Also all chassis and underbody colors including suspension. There is believed to have been a midyear change throughout the corporate line going from painting most chassis components with "chassis black" to leaving a lot bare. Also discussed in the book.
