The tin valley cover IS the gasket in this installation, though generally use a film of Edelbrock gasgacinch ( when you can find it ) or number 2 permatex non hardening on the ends where it seals to the block, and around the intake ports. Not caring a lot for RTV in this case, but to each their own. Additionally, Fel Pro sells a set of thin paper gaskets for use with aluminum intakes for this same situation, but thats seldom an issue with our installations. Be sure and use the metal plates that sandwich the ends of the valley to the block and if you still have it, the blanket insulation that went between the valley cover and the manifold.
