My 67 Coupe does NOT have this mystical cylindrical lighting device. As a proud 67 Imperial owner, and new list member some five plus years ago, this door light was one of the first things I remember reading about. When I couldn't find the light under the door handle (or hole for a light )on my Imperial I chalked it up as some sort of hazing ritual for rookie 67 owners :) Clay Smith 67 Crown Coupe 60 Custom ----- Original Message ----- From: "Ken Miller" <kdmiller@xxxxxxxxx> To: <mailing-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Tuesday, March 18, 2003 9:12 AM Subject: 1967 Interior Lights (was: IML: Electrical questions...) > > This brings up another curious '67 anomaly. This "little cylindrical thing" (as Chris called it - a perfect description!) seems to be an illusive installation on 67s. I have seen a number of 67 parts cars and have found that some have the lamp installed, some don't. In my particular car, the wiring harness was present but the lamp was not (I added one from another 67). > > I haven't found the serial number or option state that predicts whether > or not a car will have one.
