Guages

 I went out today and got a coolant temp guage and a
oil pressure guage (both machinical ones).

Problem: instructions do not mention where or how to
hook the two guages up to the car- they say to
"attach/screw into engine block"

 The coolant temp sensor I plan on putting in the
radiator after drilling a hole in the top of the
radiator or radiator cap.

The oil pressure guage basically consists of a small
plastic tube with brass ends- one brass end screws
into the guage, the other goes into what appears to be
a empty/cutted/bored out bolt. This bolt must then be
screwed into the oil system- somewhere after the oil
pump (engine block?). But where? Any ideas on these
two guages??? Never worked with a manual guage at all
before (I been keeping it electric.. until now:)
