electronic ignition - air - shocks - radio - misc

Hi,

I've had the car for a dozen years but I am now finally putting it into real road worthy shape.  I want it to be area daily driver and look great but a show car per se.  It's a pink 60 Imperial  with the 413.  I'm having it repainted the same color.

Could someone please advise me on which electronic conversion would be best for my car.  Also is there a specific set of air shocks that will give the best ride.  I have the dealers aftermarket air conditioning system.  Is it best to leave it with the R12 refrigerant rather than doing the conversion to the modern refrigerant?  I was told that it was less likely to leak if I leave it as is.

Should I just replace the original speaker rather than having it reconed?  Has anyone used the secret audio system for radio and CD changer and any suggestion on speaker placement that does not involve ruining the look of the car.

I will have a few extra parts available soon after this restoration.  Some of the original factory air parts for the dash and underneath that I picked up in New Mexico.  I heard that it was much too difficult to restore a factory air conditioning system.  I will also have a standard deck lid since I am replacing mine with a flight sweep. I think I will be keeping my standard bench seat.  In that case the swivel seats will be available.  they are mostly frame and are in serious need of complete upholstery.  Is there any real reason to put this in my car?  Will it really add to comfort or look? Any suggestions?

Thanks for the help,
