Suggestion for the future: Anytime that I go to look at a car, I always bring a good battery and starting fluid spray, plus a small box of basic tools. 2 of 3 cars that were "driven" to their location were started with permission of the owner on the spot after checking the oil and other common sense items, proving their worth to me. #3 refused and could give no good reason. His reaction and way of handling the communication of his decision told me that I was not getting all facts needed to make a good buy/fair-price decision, so I let it go and am content about it. If I had a dead car that I wanted out of the barn, and the potential buyer was savvy enough to get the thing to turn over on the spot, I'd be more than happy to let them fiddle with the car so that they'd sell themselves and solve my problem, says my own logic. If not, why not? You're testing the seller as much as the car on these events.... ===== Kenyon Wills 6o LeBaron - America's Most Carefully Built Car 73 LeBaron - Long Low & Luxurious __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
