Tire sizes on 81-83s (was:Whitewalls AGAIN!!)



If one wants to avoid the issue that Dick is mentioning, you could install 
lower profile tires (say 225/60R-15 which has even smaller diameter than the 
205/75, improving acceleration).  However, those tires are more expensive, and 
they may not be a perfect match for a car with soft suspension.  They should be 
able to cope with the weight though.
