If yes, I have heard that these carbs are bad news because they need to be rebuilt fairly often. Most 67-69 Imperials that are frequently driven have the original Holley replaced, usually with a Carter. My 68 Sedan has a Carter (along with other various engine mods) which has never caused absolutely no problems for the past 70K miles. My Le Baron has the original Holley in the trunk, while in its place a 4 barrel Rochester resides. Both carbs are spreadbores (meaning that the primaries are small and the secondaries are BIG) that supposedly improve fuel economy, and both do a descent job. Its too early to report about the Rochester's reliability... D^2
