Do you have the original Holley? If yes, I have heard that these carbs are
bad news because they need to be rebuilt fairly often. Most 67-69
Imperials that are frequently driven have the original Holley replaced,
usually with a Carter. My 68 Sedan has a Carter (along with other various
engine mods) which has never caused absolutely no problems for the past 70K
miles. My Le Baron has the original Holley in the trunk, while in its
place a 4 barrel Rochester resides. Both carbs are spreadbores (meaning
that the primaries are small and the secondaries are BIG) that supposedly
improve fuel economy, and both do a descent job. Its too early to report
about the Rochester's reliability...
