I’ve known the person selling the
car for over 30 years, and have seen the car from a distance (from the outside
of his garage). He is an honest man; you can believe what
he says. He says that some of the pictures are
current (last week). If he says that, you can take it to the bank! I cannot tell you much about the condition
of the car, but he can – just address your questions to the seller. Dick Benjamin From:

Behalf Of viajoaquin@xxxxxxx I don't beleive the so called current photo is actually
current either, but rather from the last time the car saw the light of day!
This car shows up on eBay about once a year. The last time it
showed up, I had a conversation with an IML member that was acquainted with the
eccentric owner and had actually seen the car years ago, so it is
lagitimate. Apparently it resides in the back of a building behind
countless other projects. Back then I commented that if he was really serious
about selling the car, he would bother to make it accessable. I also
predicted it would continue to sit until it became one more thing for his
heirs to dispose of. My opinion hasn't changed! 67 Crown FDHT '64 Ghia on eBay: no VIN, 1 (!) current and 1 old photo,
lots of conditions, anonymous bidder(s), and link to another site for further
information. Caveat emptor! Robert Walker |
