It would probably work, but the 63 carb didn't have a choke pulloff.

Incase going original is an option, I found this '65 Carter AFB on ebay. I
think this is the same for a '63.

Any chance of putting the
Carter AFB back on? I never found any problems with them on any of my
previous or current Mopars. Just a thought................alex
