Re:1965? Valve Cover Stickers

Hi,
  I have been intrigued by this since you 2 started
mentioning them.
I can find no picts of a 65 with the sicker on the
valve cover including my unrestored well cared for 65
coupe or my 65 Ghia, except a 65 with the valve cover
sticker on the motor trend article listed below. 
Makes me wonder if the production cars did not get
one, only the one they "dollled up" for the magazine. 
Although that sticker of Kenyons does seem to be the
one shown in the motor trend story.
I wonder if it was an early item or a late item??

Th sticker is in the style of the text and scripts
used for 66 and is like the sticker used on all my
66's.

So... I am not sure I can be very definite..
But... It is correct for 66 and shown from pictures of
the time in the motor trend article so yes I would say
it is correct for 65 or 66 although I have yet to see
a 65 wearing one..
No space for it on the 67s

I am forwarding this to the IML to see if anyone else
has a 65 with the valve cover and which side it is on.
