The Idea that I have is to be able to rotate &
turn an illustration ,so that a better understanding of the subject can be
achieved. The seat pic was just an example. Another good one is if you are
repairing a lower heal section of a front fender, by turning the illustration to
end on will give an idea of the flair & how the edge should look. I have
seen the design engineers do this sort of thing at work, & it do's give a
good & better understanding if you are building from scratch.
