There's a C-135 here in Houston down by the old Ellington AFB. NASA used it
to do Negative G maneuvers so astronauts can play weightless for something
like 30 seconds. Looks exactly like a 707 only without windows. There's a
C-135 at Edwards AFB. You could probably do a websearch to find one at a
museum in your area. The USAF bought up a good many of the 707/720 series
so they can yank parts off them for their C-135/E-3 fleet. If you're looking
for a period aircraft, DC-8's are still relatively common in cargo service,
and there's 3 or 4 of them up at Bush Airport here in Houston. If it
doesn't have to be a jet, there's the SAC (save-a-connie) Lockheed
Constellation that looks a lot like a TWA Connie.
