At the risk of exceeding the limits of patience with the Impcops, Bill, all
I can say is, come to San Antonio. We have a company here that specializes
in working on them. I counted three this evening as I passed. Bring your
59 and maybe George will come out to play with his '56. Now that would be a
good photo shoot with or without a 707.
I was working on the Imperial again this evening . I had not bought an axle
inner seal the other day, just the bearing, race and outer seal, but good
old NAPA was able to get one within a day and the whole wheel assembly was
put back together. The friend who lent me the axle puller happened to lend
me a seal puller also. He said I might need it. I did not know if I would
or not, so, as usual, I am beholden to those smarter and more experienced
than myself.
The car has not touched the ground since mid July and I have not driven it
since May. I think it's time. I think we are close to getting this brake
project and the many other related projects, the might as well since we're
here projects, completed.
