a silly question

This is a fairly common problem on the 60-63"s. They often get all gummed up in the mechanism & won't release. With the door panel off, you'll see that there is an adjustment on  the linkage arm. While you have the panel off, spray WD-40 or simillar in the locking mechanism & move the linage to loosen things up. Adjust the inside handle arm & this should solve the problem. Don't get too rough with the inside door handle, as these have a tendancy to snap off at the top.

Subject: IML: a silly question

Hi, this is Nate again. I have a question that no one has of yet been able to answer. Now don't laugh. How do I unlock the doors of my 1960 from the inside? When  I push the door handle forward on all the doors, they lock, but I can't seem to get them unlocked without using the key on the outside. Is this supposed to happen, or am I just missing something? If someone could share this info with me, I would really appreciate it. Thanks.
