By the way, the lazy man's tactic to keep the brake system in shape on a classic vehicle is once a year to use a hand pump and suck out almost all (not all!) of the brake fluid in the master cylinder. Then top it up with fresh fluid. I know a guy who has done this for decades and never had a problem with his car's brake hydraulics.
