Putting Rams on a 300L Rag Top

Hi Gary,
Happy New Year! Just before the holidays I was able to procure a set of short rams with the carbs and linkages. Stampings show that it was originally used/intended for a '62-'63 Max Wedge car.

I've heard from the 300 Club that rams were offered by a few dealers on the 300L. Some buyers wanted a faster car, dealers had left over inventory, viola!

Who in the '62-'65 Mopar would be knowledgeable about installing this onto my 300L's 413ci wedge? While we should be okay on clearance, I suspect there might be some necessary tweaks to keep the fuel from burning too rich, etc. Curious about what other "watch outs" we should be looking for and any tips members can offer.

Or should I just do a general posting to the group?

Either way, will certainly be getting pics of the car off to you once the salt's off the road for the Mopar of the Month. Can't wait!!

Warmest regards,

David M.
New Jersey

Thanks,
