Yes in the '60's Mopar “Hydroboost” power brake system the power steering pump activates both the power steering unit and the brake booster. http://www.1962to1965mopar.ornocar.com/images/haldiman-truck-j.jpg shows one taken from a Dodge motorhome and mounted on the firewall of a 1963 Dodge truck. 

So if he just needs power brakes without the power boost would he just need to order the booster without the bracket?
