While I've got my engine on the stand with everything off the heads
really don't look that complicated to take off.
I've already got the valve train apart for the cam. So I'm thinking
it couldn't hurt to put some new head gaskets on. There was quite a
bit of old oil around the heads but it could have been from the valve
covers. No signs of oil in the antifreeze or vise versa.
If I can just buy a set of head gaskets and not have to buy new head
bolts that seems pretty good.
Are there reasons to leave the head gaskets alone?
of course, Thanks!
