Re: How hard change 361 head gaskets? (engine on stand)

Hey Everybody,

Thanks for the advice! That's why I really like this group, even when
the advice is not want I wanted to hear. I think I'll pull the heads
and do the gaskets and valve seals. I know if it ain't broke don't F
with it and starting one thing leads to a slippery slope of doing a
whole bunch more so I'll watch that.

I know if it smokes or runs worse then before I pulled the heads it's
my fault. But I'm ok with that. I really want to learn how
everything goes together and works. I expect to I'll make mistakes
and do dumb stuff.

This engine is a learning experiance and I'm pretty excited about
it. .. like when I discovered my front cam bearing shot to heck. I
was bummed when I saw it, but know I'm excited figuring out how to
replace it.

I've learned more in the past month then I would have imagined.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Please address private mail -- mail of interest to only one person -- directly to that person. That is, send parts/car transactions and negotiations as well as other personal messages only to the intended recipient, not to the Clubhouse public address. This practice will protect your privacy, reduce the total volume of mail and fine tune the content signal to Mopar topic. Thanks!
