I guess that's why I took my trans to Bob George, who owns one of the biggest Mopar race shops in the area and knows the game as well as anyone. He said what screwed his crew up was that they had never worked with the shift kit I bought and the directions were wrong.
But he should have gotten it right the second time and he shouldn't have charged me another $700 to still NOT fix my trans. There are a lot of people in this world who are alive simply because it is against the law to kill them. My ex-wife is another one.

The *modern* trans shop is often corporate-driven, run on shop volume as the benchmark, with accountants perched like birds on a telephone pole, watching every move. The old timey shop is more likely to have a fellow there who appreciates classic vehicles and has done so
many of the TorqueFlite trans rebuilds he could do it blindfolded. Always a good idea to shop around and to ask for references from fellow Mopar hobbyists. 2c
