I bet the speedo needle just got stuck at the far end.  I take it out
and see if you just can bump it away from 120 and see if it goes back
to zero.  If not there are speedo repair places that can fix them.  It
could have broken the spring inside or the pin...assuming yours is
like most other speedos...I've not seen one of your cars apart so I'm
not 100% positive.
