car was a disppointment of course. it ran out just fine, but the paint job on it, was a typical display of apathy, little bits of spray on the trim, etc, u could tell not much time went into prepping it, so it always makes u wonder whats beneath that new paint. I dont understand , how much longer might it take to do a precise masking job, another hour>???? I'm a better car painter than this guy was. Its still probably worth it for a runner driver 4 speed cuda , bought i have definitely cooled on the deal. The guy was totally bizarre. He acted ticked off and offended that i wanted to hear it run and see it drive. His ad said runs and drives fine, so why act all put out by it??? I'm just supposed to trust him on that?????? So then when i told him i would never buy a car without seeing it run and drive if it was so advertised, he gets a big huff on, gets in the car, slams the door, fires it up and goes off screaming around this litttle tiny town square driving like a mad man, and pulls back in the drive way with it. But he never asked me to go along, just leaves me standing in his driveway. That's the first time i have ever test drove a car without being in it.At that point i didn't want to give the guy so much as one dollar towards the betterment of his life. I just don't understand why people advertise cars for sale and then expect to do absolutely zero work towards selling it. neal zimmerman, eugene oregon -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "The 1962 to 1965 Mopar Mail List Clubhouse" group.
