Hi all, A fellow I know is having a 1963 Plymouth Fury repainted right now. The car is the color of the Plymouth shown in the link below, light tan MM1 with Alabaster (tan) interior. (Thanks Nick!) http://usacars247.com/pictures/carpic0-11891-2008:08:18:11:53:45-.jpg According to a 1963 catalog he has, he thinks the side accent stripe -- color sweep -- should be pained white "ermine" on all model except Savoys, which lacked the side trim. Seems to me the side sweep was coordinated with the color of the interior in 1962 and 1963 on Dodges at least. Don't know why the Fury in the picture has a red stripe. That car also has an Alabaster (tan) interior. His Fury has a white color sweep, but his Plymouth was repainted an incorrect color by some previous owner. Any tips? Is the side sweep a code on the fender tag perhaps? And how would one find the paint codes (Ditzler) used?
