Re: headliner
Thanks Dave and Joe, I think I have learned what I need to know. I will save all the replys and with the link Gary sent me , I think I can do this job myself when the time comes.
If that sail panel board is not available reproduction, maybe I can make that myself. Anyone have a pic of that board? Thanks again.................MO

That “dark stiff fiberboard” that the lights were attached to if not broken away, would have the same shape of the entire sail panel (C pillar) area. The board material was the backing used with some ¼ inch or so of insulation on it much like the other insulation pads throughout the car - under the dash and kick panels etc. As per your description and my memory, I believe as you said, the insulation side of the “board” was against the C pillar with some adhesive and the light base / socket mounted on top of the board helping to hold it in place. Then the headliner material covered all that with the lens and bezel to finish it off. I believe Joe B. answered the attachment of the liner itself nicely, thanks. While on the insulation thing, there was also a sheet of maybe 3 / 8 inch thick non-backed insulation cemented to the underside of the roof. I don’t know if this or the C pillar insulation is available or not. But I will need it (or something) in the future. Does anyone else know? Joe?

Dave, I'm not sure if my calling them sail panels is correct. My
headliner was completly missing and back on the pillar was the two interior lights and part of a dark stiff fiberboard. that the lights were attached to 
. The rest of it was broken away on both sides. I did not see any
insulation unless that was the board itself. As for the headliner material
over that area, there are gripper teeth by the sides of the rear window, but 
I did not see how the headliner material woud attach on the front side of
the two lights

As for the clips on e-bay, I don't remember what they looked like, but
there were several more than two. My bet is that they were for something
other than B body or for a later year than 1964. Thanks for the

Are you referring to the insulation for the sail panels? If so, that’s a
good question. I would think if these were available Joe Suchy would have
them. I need to get those myself yet. If that’s what you need and find them 
would you let me know please?
And oh by the way, I’m glad you had those bow clips, they might be though to 
find. Are they the same that you said you saw on Ebay?
