Re: Super Stock Springs



I used front spring perches from an A body to get the right wheelbase dimension 
with the SS springs.

As far as the springs to use, I went through a couple sets of 3400# units (the 
recomended springs for our 65s) and they ended up sagging at the back too much 
over time.  I've been using a 3800# set for a few years and they're working 
fine.  The car weights right around 3860# with me in the saddle (Hey, cut the 
cracks, I only weigh 190#).  This car is street driven as well as run down the 
strip with slicks going low 12s.
