Re: Why not Mopar electronic conversion instead of Ignitor I, II, or III?

I must be the exception. I've installed stock Mopar elec. ign. on my cars and
haven't had any problems like I've read with the "hi-perf" aftermarket stuff.  I
use the tried and true K.I.S.S. Rule

I never have been able to determine just what the  black, orange or chrome
electronic does?  Doesn't the stock Mopar dist.  that needs one of these
boxes have mechanical and vacume advance? Does the boxes magnify the spark
voltage? On my Dodge build I am  trying to decide on the pertronix with a
hot coil or the stock type set up...............................MO

Yup if not more!!  I should have qualified my statement to conversions in
our cars.  Just being on the site and all.
