RE Pistons?

Just want to thank all you for taking the time to help me out . I have
learned more in a few days than in many hours of trying to sort out the
Internet. Re 440 Source: My 413 has the reinforcing ribs along the block
sides and the thicker motor mount bosses And I am more confident in using
cast" pistons from "Seal Power" I am thinking of using the thinner steel
head gasket, and if there are any detonation problems-then can go to the
thicker "Fel Pro" composition.
Now I am waiting for motor mount brackets to arrive, then I can mock up the engine-bellhouse and tranny to see what other clutch linkage and crossmember modifications I will need . Also making a couple of floor pan patches. Thanks again...........................MO ..........SW IOWA
