Gary, I've heard that the axle shaft thrust block/spacer or button (cylindrical type piece),
in the middle of the center chunk. comes in a couple of different sizes.It may be that it's just a different size in a sure gip then a open center chunk? I'm not sure what center chunk had what, but you need to know so your axles
will fit. and of course you can grind down the one that's bigger. Maybesomeone has more info on this? as, I have a 741 case (open diff. ), with more gear in it. I'd like to make it into a sure grip and swap it with the 741 case (open diff.) that's in my car now.
