the open diffs prior to 1964 had a difference width thrust block than
the Dana SG's units. in '64 they standardized on the width of the
SG unit. so,, 'no' is the answer with 62-63 open diff center sections.

I've got a 63 unit drum to drum that I've had on craigslist and various
website for sale for $100 for well over a year... no takers yet...

big blocks are probably worth keeping everything except a 361 short
block, the heads, the exhaust man's (like another reader pointed out),
and the oil pan/strainer for sure. small block stuff, not so much,
225.., forget it...

radiators are usually worth keeping regardless.,, except for 225 rads.
