I believe that I have the information from it's fender tag and it proves to be nearly identical to the FT info I have for the following car which is an up for auction MW-clone: http://www.proxibid.com/asp/LotDetail.asp?ahid=1643&aid=6197&lid=1993052 the fender tags for the two cars are nearly indentical. being LA cars, the FT rosetta stone has yet to be unearthed, or made public (for free or for a fee). I know a little about the LA FTs. the "5" under the "Q" is for 385 heater, the "2" under the "A" is for a 342 V8 Torqueflite, and the "3" under the "H" is unknown. probably engine, but not necessarily matching the letters than Lynch Rd/Hamtramck used. Belvedere's were standard with a 225, so a V8 car would carry a code for the engine. probably a 318 2bbl. The green clone car in the proxibid auction has only these three codes. The blue car in the eBay auction has these same exact codes plus a "1" under the "L", which is most likely 421 economy radio. besides the fact that no MW were built outside of Detriot, the fact that the eBay car has the same FT codes as the known-to-be-clone green proxibid FT pretty much means these cars came with the same engine. ---- Please address private mail -- mail of interest to only one person -- directly to that person.
