Re: Shock Absorbers: KYB's or Monroe's

Suggest you shop around alot more pricewise. There are a number of mail order places with KYB's alot cheaper than $180 for 4.

Try Summit: http://store.summitracing.com/egnsearch.asp?N=700+300879+4294908078+115+4294924454
$37.95 each and no tax (unless you live in Nevada)

Hope this helps.

Subject: Shock Absorbers: KYB's or Monroe's

Found both brands for my '64 Sport Fury.

Monroe's are $70.00 for 4.
KYB's are $180.00 for 4.

What's the difference -- are the KYB's worth the extra money? Parts guy doesn't know.

Thanks,
Doug
