RE: flex fans

Sean,

I will have to dis-agree with my learned friend. First let me say I hate
flex fans. At low speed, they might scoop more air, but at high speeds
they flatten out and don't flow as much air. In fact I have seen them effect

high speed flow adversely. The best combo IMO is the good old Mopar
7 blade air conditioner fan on a thermo clutch. Nothing sucks as much
air as a stock Mopar 7 blade air conditioner fan at low speeds.

My truck has a special shroud I build with a long tunnel and a 7 blade
fan and direct drive. If your in front of the truck and I rev it to 3 grand,

it will suck you into the grill. Just kidding, but almost.

Earl

Sean,
I believe a flex fan scoops more air, creating more drag, and thus reducing
HP.
