Right on Steve!! You're exactly right, age has nothing to do with anything. With a car like that in the family for the last 11 years, you probably know more than people 3 times your age!!

There is nothing that upsets me more than when my age is brought into this. I have talked with people who thought I was in my 40's. Therefore, I try not to bring my age up because some people cannot accept thefact I am 16.Dave, The car's been with us for 11 years now. We were told it was a race car from day one and Mr. Lau's mechanic represented it as a Max Wedge this summer. $10,500 for this car was cheap even 11 years ago. Jason, I'm with you on the Coronet part, My 65 has a 440 in it now and I wouldn't have it any other way. No one "ruffled my feathers", I learned alot of info already and now know the proper things to look for. Are the 4 e-brake mounts on Street Wedges also? -Steve --- Donnie Schanz Jr <dcs426@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote:I am sorry. I did not mean to imply that somebodydid give him static. We answeredhis questions. No static or negativity was statedor implied. Noderogatory statements were made. It seems to methat some people gottheir feathers ruffled over nothing. I thoughtthe purpose of this groupwas to help each other out with the facts. I don't want to see Steve get "had" by someone ifthey are trying tomisrepresent a car. Best he knows the truth, forhis own protection. For the record I could care less about the"correct reflector" crowd. Ihave a factory 318 65 coronet which now has ahopped up 413 in it. Ilove it. It is not for sale and I will drive ittill I die.The important thing is not to get "had" by thenumerous unscrupulous"max wedge" "a990" people that have recentlysurfaced. Also to notmistakenly misrepresent your car to someone else.It is up to us towatch out for each other. That was my only goalin answering Steve'squestions. Nobody said anything negative about 4 door carseither, so I am not surewhere that BS came from. JasonCouldn't agree with Jason's comment more. All deadon, every bit ofit,AFAIC!.Esp the part about taking advantage ofsomeone.Steve contactedme off list regarding this car and all the issueswere workedout, hopefully to his understanding. He is a victimhere, esp if he paid apremium for the car. I also appologized if I personally made it soundlike a pi**ingcontest, which I had no intention of doing.I wasmerely stating the factsas best I know them.I only wish we were all therefor him BEFORE theonly one person --sale.
