I bought the two Coronets today. They were more solid than I remember. This guy is moving and just wants to get rid of them. The 65 hardtop was a big block car and still has the drive train. The convertible has very solid pans and top assembly. The owner has them stored at a garage which is located next door to a small salvage yard. He had a couple of old Ford pickups which he just got through taking next door to the salvage yard and they crushed them. He told me if I wasn't going to buy the Coronets, he was going to crush them too. Couldn't let that happen. I could hear the crusher running when I was there. I'm going to go look at a couple of 65 Coronets again tomorrow. It seems the owner is moving to Kansas City and can't take the cars with him. I looked at these in March and left my phone number. He just now contacted me this last Sunday. The one Coronet is a 2 door hardtop and the other is a 500 convertible with solid pans and top mechanism. He also has a 71 Charger 383, 62 Dodge Dart with 383 that he's owned since 1965 and a 72 Coronet with a 383. Not that I need anymore cars, but I think he wants to sell them as a package. Gary
