Steve,don't be sorry about anything.You obviously have questions about 
your car.I'm just trying help.I certainly don't know everything.If Dave 
O or Sherwood K. have anything different to add,it would be great.

Speaking for myself,the numbers on your car don't code out correctly.It 
still may be a Maxie car, but the jamb tag got replaced sometime in it's 
history with that of a Polara.There were no Post Polaras built.There's 
no other way I could explain it.

In the absence of a build sheet or fender tag,the IBM card you have is 
probably for a Polara if you used the VIN from the door jamb to get the 
card.
