When I installed my Super Stock springs ('63 Sport Fury)there was a
notation in the catalog I think, (Jegs) that said the car would not sit
level after installation. I'm assuming that one side is beefier to
handle the torque being transferred to the rear end. Another thing that
was interesting to note. I originally ordered stock replacement
springs. These were supposed to be a direct bolt in. but when I got
them the spring perches were off by @ 3/4". So since Jeg's couldn't
figure out what the correct application was I decided to try the SS
springs. It was also noted in the catalog that they might require the
longer front hangers. But as it turned out they bolted right in. So I
think as is often the case the parts I was getting would have fit the
way the catalog suggested in a '64 or'65 'B' body. Since those years
are so popular a lot of things are geared towards them. Finding parts
for my '63 is just that much harder. (You should hear me whine to my
buddy who's restifying his '62 chebbie about parts price and
availability.)
