Max Wedge vs Hemi, Which is Faster?

Hi All,

I've been having this debate with a buddies dad who
used to race with Landy back in the day.  He tells me
that a Max Wedge motor would stomp a street hemi any
day of the week.  I was shocked.  I though that the
elephant was the king kong of the engines.  Has anyone
had both and can compare the two???
