hi,

i have a 413MW head that needs a valve guide replaced on number 3  
exhaust.
the top of the guide at the valve seal surface is broken between 1  
and  4 oclock.  it is fine on the stress axis (12 and 6 oclock)

I want to replace the guide with a 500 thousandths insert.  is there  
enough meat in the casting to do so without hitting the water jacket?

Anyone had to do this and had success doing so?
