Hi All, I replaced the Fuel Gauge with a rebuilt one from Jeff Carter. I still have some problems.
Does this indicate a bad ground or, more likely, perhaps a problem with the Float? Thank you! Regards, Mark Lindahl From: chrysler-300-club-international@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx <chrysler-300-club-international@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> On Behalf Of mplindahl@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Hello All, I am just ready to check the shop manual, but I thought I would ask the experts! I replaced by Fuel Gauge with a rebuilt one from Jeff Carter. So far, so good. The new one moves up and is close to Full. I did not start the engine, but all looks promising. I noticed a Cream colored wire (single with push on black connector) that seems to be loose and not connected. It is near the left side by the shifter. It looks like the shifter has a dual wire connected at the bottom (assume neutral safety switch or back up lights ?) If anyone knows where a single cream colored wire goes, please let me know. I am looking at the shop manual, but that does not always give a clue to the exact location to plug in. Thank you!
