RE: [Chrysler300] A/C compressor

Al;

Our 300F recently had the A/C system rebuilt and I have some take off compressor valves and spare compressor p/n 1947497 which I can provide photos.  If the EPV valve is located on the back of the compressor consider what our technician recommended. Which involved replacing with a Shrader Valve as found on backsides of mid 60's Chrysler compressors. If you need an Evaporator valve I was able to locate a replacement p/n 25-8725 thru Old Air Products.  I would be glad to share my rebuild experience, please phone me.

Subject: [Chrysler300] A/C compressor

Hello Group,
    While getting the A/C repaired on my 1960 F, I learned that the rebuilt compressor that I bought in 2002 from Classic Auto Air in Tampa, FLis not correct for the car and the internal EPV cannot be replaced; therefore I need a new compressor.  Any input and suggestions are welcome.
Al
