Hello, Carl: I have KYBs on my '64. I've had the car on my frame lift for several weeks with all wheels in full suspension with no leaks. I have them on two vehicles; installed last fall. Both cars have been run only a few miles since the shock installation. When I jacked up the wheels off the ground to change transmission fluid, at least one of the two rear shocks on each car leaked out a noticeable amount light oil either when the car was up in the air or when I let the cars back down off the jack stands. That can’t be right. Seems to have something to so with the shock being fully extended. Does that mean the cylinders blew? Anyone else have this issue with recently purchased KYBs? Front shocks (KYB 4507) did not have this problem.
