When faced with nut that are stuck to their bolts, the method for removal after wrenches for me is a Nut Splitter. This method causes no damage to the surrounding area and no risk of fire. After splitting, the nut can be easily removed. (This is a life saver for situations where it is difficult to replace the bolt such as those set in concrete or welded to the part). I can recommend a KD Tools #715. It is open, offset, and it swivels. It also has an unconditional guarantee which I made use of last. Mine broke after about 15 years of use. I took it to a KD Tool dealer and in 4 days I had a no cost replacement. Minnesota Marshall Red G, 27 & 28 Dodge Brothers.
